Semester 1 2025 -2026 Junior Development Training Program (Beginner - Advanced) 12U and 14U

The Junior Development Training Program will be Directed by Founder and Director Christian Moulin.  The program will fallow the ITF Progressive System using Red, Orange, and Green Balls. Players will be grouped by age and/or skill level in the most appropriate section for greatest learning potential. Basic knowledge requirements and instruction topics are listed below for each level.  Tennis Training is in Finnish and English languages.

Semester Training Classes will be offered Mondays through Sunday training options 25 August - 14 December, 2025 . Training classes will be held at Outshine Center (Kulosaari) Helsinki and Rosegarden Country Club (Espoo)

12U Training :
Mondays 16:30-17:30 (12U) Outshine Center (Kulosaari) Helsinki
Friday 18:00-19:00 (12U) Outshine Center (Kulosaari) Helsinki

14U Training:

Players can reserve spaces in our monthly training classes by sending an e-mail to Christian Moulin at programs@asmtennisacademy.fi . Training spots are limited in our junior programs and players have optional training 4, 8 or 12 times per month.  We look forward to the season.

Lessons will also be offered at Talin Tennis Center (Talin Urheilupuisto Kutomokuja 4, 00380 HELSINKI) and Taivallahti Tennis Center (Hiekkarannantie 2, 00100 HELSINKI).

Green ball tournament are held for ages 10-12 years of age. Yellow ball tournaments are held for 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. Tournaments are for both girls and boys including co-ed tournaments.

All programs require an ASM Club Membership prior to registration. Each participant is required to purchase an ASM Club Membership. The Membership covers court fees for the year in which it is purchased (resets 1 January).

*Payment can made online or we can send invoice for monthly or quarterly fees for tennis programs academy semester fee's.  Please, send e-mail to Christian at programs@asmtennisacademy.fi  if you would like to register for program and be billed invoices for the class.  
*If you would like a trial class to try our academy training program please e-mail Christian at programs@asmtennisacademy.fi  and we can arrange trial class for the player and training group.

  • COURT SIZE: 36’


    At this stage players will learn the basics of the game - How to score, rally, and serve, as well as understanding how to win and lose points. Advanced red ball players will begin to learn technical awareness and court tactics. Red ball players at this level are able to begin matches on the smaller court sizes.

  • Orange Ball Court Size: 60’


    At this stage, players have already learned the basic techniques of the game and are ready to develop more consistency and specific technique in their stokes. With developments in physical control and coordination, players will be challenged to cover the larger court size and to direct the ball away from the opponent. More focus will be placed on learning the tactics of the game, anticipating ball movements, and incorporating ball spin. Serving and return of serve are covered at a more advanced level.

  • COURT SIZE: 78’


    At this stage, players will be getting used to the increased physical demands of covering a full-sized court while still using slower moving green balls. Players will be instructed in more advanced use of angles, spin, depth control, attacking and defending, and moving the opponent around the court. Additionally, the player will learn the tactic of learning to gauge the opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
